The silent princess (poem) - Victor Montero

She was sitting alone
On the floor.
For a long long time,
Imagine.

She waved her hands
Not knowing why,
She cleared her eyes
To other kingdoms,
Imagine.

And her heart is open
Like an open door,
For a long long time
She wonders.

Is the queen in a cloud?
And will this horse fly?
If I write it all down
Will I live my story?
She wonders.

You know, another time
Is another space,
They didn’t believe it was hers.
They said she didn’t do it,
It’s just another fake,
She didn’t wanna listen
To the sound of the crowd
But she was sitting alone…
She was sitting alone…

So, if you now hear the whisper voice inside your heart
With the start of a heart-broken tale
Bring the silent princess, bring her to light
Cause you know the way, you know the way.

Where the people fly there’s an old stone
With a diamond shining inside
And it’s waiting to be found…
waiting to be found.

To live the story of a silent princess
That must be saved from the shadows above
Within the love, there’s always a way…
You know, always a way.

In those tales that never happened
And they’ll never coming back,
In those wounds and those cries,
And those lying eyes…

In the fall-apart goodbyes
There are worlds to be seen
You had a storm inside
But princess, now you can scream
And make love and bring her back,
Cause alone you’ve never been
So, let it go and go and fly
Into the stories to come.
